Collingwood was founded as a textile company in 1901 by Francis E. Collingwood. However, after 60 years of operation, the decision was made to establish Collingwood as the lighting company it is known as today. Collingwood distribute their lighting in Europe, Asia, The Pacific, Africa, and the Americas. They were the first to produce 100% waterproof and sealed for life products, and were also the first to provide fit for purpose fire rated downlights.
