LED Bulkheads consist of an electric lamp inside of the outer casing, with a choice of the trim. They are very helpful for illuminating key safety areas when a building experiences power loss. The Battery unit switches to Emergency Operation to light up escape routes, allowing people to safely evacuate a building.
A benefit of them is that they have a longer lifetime rating than regular lights. They will save twice the amount of energy compared a fluorescent bulkhead during operation. A 10W LED Bulkhead can produce the same brightness of 700+ lumens as a Fluorescent Bulkhead. This means they offer you power savings, as they work with less wattage.
